We had a ten-year relationship with our former vendor. The agreement was two-fold: combining leasing equipment, and a service and maintenance contract which included a full-time employee on site at our office. Originally, we were pleased. After all, they bundled their fees for services into one payment making it 'easy' for us. However, we didn't know what that type of arrangement was actually costing us.

The Smartdot approach to lease management opened my eyes. First, they made a concerted effort to understand my business. Then, they demonstrated that we could achieve flexibility and savings if we un-bundled our leasing, maintenace and equipment contracts. Smartdot renegotiated our leases, freeing funds that have been invested elsewhere—allowing for our expansion to Florida.
